She may not get billing in our company name, but Meg—wife of David Haggerty—has been essential to DSquared’s success from the beginning.
“We started by cooking in our house,” Meg remembers. “David came home one day and said he landed our first job; we were going to serve Fettucine Alfredo to 40 people. I said, ‘Wow, I didn’t know you knew how to do that.’ And he said, ‘I don’t, but you do, right?’ And we did it.”
More than three decades later, Meg says she is still drawn to DSquared’s work because it celebrates all of life through rituals of gathering.
When she’s not working, Meg likes spending time with her family, practicing yoga with good friends, writing, reading and gardening.
