Our exclusive venue for over 30 years, this elegant event space is housed in the picturesque 1900s-era former Fauntleroy Schoolhouse. Nestled a world away in a quiet tree-lined neighborhood, yet close to downtown Seattle, the Hall at Fauntleroy offers multiple unique indoor and outdoor spaces.

THE EMERALD ROOM: CLASSICALLY CLASSY

Soaring ceilings. The warmth and texture of exposed brick. And the beauty of soft light from large windows that look onto a wooded ravine. The Emerald Room has all of this, plus a large raised dance floor, an anteroom for the bride or other special guests, and more. It’s a space for up to 250 guests seated and 357 guests standing, feeling intimate and expansive all at once.

THE VASHON ROOM: A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

The Vashon Room is one of Seattle’s few indoor/outdoor event spaces. With its high ceilings, simple, contemporary details and abundant natural light, the Vashon Room is the perfect canvas for your creative vision. Just outside is the Garden Courtyard, a lush, landscaped setting with a manicured lawn, mature plantings and a winding path—an enticing oasis for an outdoor ceremony or reception. Vashon Room event holders also enjoy access to The Studio, a cool, inviting hideaway where your guests can take a break from the main event to chat, play billiards, and sip a cocktail. The Vashon Room accommodates parties of up to 170 guests seated and 216 standing.

Weekdays: $100 per hour

VENUE RENTAL

The Hall at Fauntleroy venue rental includes 10 hours of access.  All decorating, deliveries, event and clean up must occur during this time. Additional consecutive hours, if available, maybe be rented for $100 per hour, plus staffing. On site ceremony fee is $500. Rehearsals are scheduled based on venue availability and are $200 for 1 hour of access. The venue closes at 1am. Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes will coordinate all linen rental for your event. Ask your Event Manager about colors and styles.

VENUE INCLUDES
  • Gold Chiavari Chairs (Emerald Room) or  Natural Wood Folding Chairs (Vashon Room)
  • China, Flatware, and Glassware
  • 60” round tables to seat 8-10 guests
  • 6’ rectangular banquet tables for food, headtable, DJ, gifts, guest book, etc.
  • Basic AV System: 4 speakers in the Emerald Room, 1 microphone, 1 tripod projector screen, 1 ceiling-mounted NEC brand projector, sound system with auxiliary hookup for music capabilities, and HDMI cord for PC computers.
CATERING

Catering for all events at the Hall at Fauntleroy is provided exclusively by Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes Catering. All events at the Hall at Fauntleroy require a food minimum of $4,000 (staffing and beverages not included).

STAFFING

Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes provides our professional service staff, including a Lead Server on site for the entire contracted venue rental, Bartenders, Assistant Servers and Chefs. The number and timing of staff is dependent on your event details.

ALCOHOL

There are several options for the bar. Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes offers multiple bar packages to fit your event needs. If you offer wine, beer and/or champagne you may provide your own and Alcohol Handling Fees will apply (ask your Event Manager for more details). Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes must provide all hard liquor. We can also provide a no-host (cash) bar.
