Gather & Nourish. That has been our motto for as long as we can remember, and it extends far beyond our love for beautiful events. Offering our hospitality into our larger Seattle community is a core part of both our corporate identity, and our family values.

In the mid 1950's, co- owner Meg Haggerty's grandfather, Gordon T. Shaw,  began his annual Thanksgiving turkey run tradition.  He drove around the greater Seattle area delivering turkeys to churches where they would go to families in need. Gordon's motto was "Never ignore a generous urge."   The urge hit us in 1998 to carry on Big Gordon's Thanksgiving tradition, when we hosted our first annual annual free community meal at our West Seattle venue The Hall at Fauntleroy. Each year our chefs prepare turkey with all the fixins and community volunteers serve the hundreds who show up to gather and nourish. *SEE BELOW TO VOLUNTEER!*

Beyond our Thanksgiving offering, DSquared collaborates with numerous inclusive organizations throughout the year to serve our community through direct food donations, charitable contributions, and trade or sponsorship partnerships.
