We wrapped up 2024 on a high note, having the honor of catering WIPA (Wedding Industry Professionals Association) Seattle’s Inaugural Gala! The night’s theme being, “The Sky’s The Limit,” perfectly captured the essence of the prestigious event and WIPA’s mission. Our team felt unstoppable partnering up with some of the best in the industry to create an unforgettable experience for the top wedding professionals in the region. A night of luxury, networking, and inspiration–this was a celebration of excellence and innovation in the wedding industry that we will cherish forever!

4105’s Transformation

Watching the transformation of 4105 from a blank canvas into a breathtaking winter wonderland, evoking the stormy beauty of the Pacific Northwest, was a sight beyond our wildest dreams! WIPA chose 4105 for its boundless potential, allowing them to fully immerse themselves (and their guests) in their creative vision.

Michelle, our Sales Manager, shared, “It felt like WIPA’s vision truly came to life with the perfect blend of intricate decor, stunning lighting and projection, and enchanting sound. My favorite detail of the night had to be the interactive dancefloor. It really got the guests (and me!) ready to party!”

Miranda, our Service Team Coordinator, reflected, “Every detail captured stormy Seattle so perfectly. I personally loved the wintery projection on the walls. With 20-foot-tall and 60-foot-wide walls spanning a total of 120 feet of space for live video entertainment, it truly transformed the room. Also, those full length drapes brought the main room together in a way that I could have never imagined!”

Vendor Love!

Collaborating with our amazing vendor partners, both long-time friends and new faces, is one of the highlights of bringing events like these to life. Michele gave a special shoutout to SEAshucked: “I’m a huge fan of oysters, and SEAshucked served some of the best I’ve ever had. They were also incredibly friendly and accommodating. I’d highly recommend them for any event!”

Emily Schiller, our Director of Sales, shared, “I have to give a massive round of applause to Quest Events. Those were some of the most beautiful drapes I’ve ever seen, and they absolutely tied the whole vision together!”

Miranda highlighted Jordan Kahn Music Company: “Music is such an important part of setting the tone for an event, and they absolutely nailed it! The dancefloor was packed all night long. I can’t recommend them enough for your next event.”

Menu Delights

Our culinary team collaborated closely with WIPA to curate the perfect menu for this gala, with a shared vision to capture the essence of a rainy day transforming into a starry Seattle skyline. From a cotton candy-topped salad that became an interactive element as it disappeared when dressing was poured over it, to dazzling desserts that sparkled, our menu development team embraced the theme wholeheartedly. They meticulously refined each dish through several iterations, always keeping quality, exquisite flavor, and the guest experience at the forefront of their creations!

For this celebration, our culinary team shared: “We always aim to impress, but when you’re working with professionals from your own industry, you want them to experience culinary excellence that they won’t forget. From the quality of the ingredients to the abundance of seasonal and local options at our fingertips, we took the opportunity to thoughtfully craft dishes that we knew our guests would truly enjoy.”

Michele revealed her favorite bite of the night: “The Persimmon Jam and Grilled Halloumi Brioche stole the show for me. It was my first time trying it, and I was completely hooked! The textures and flavors came together so perfectly to create the ultimate bite. I won’t lie, I had at least five!”

For me, it’s so difficult to choose one favorite dish of the night, as they were all created with equal passion and intention. If I had to choose, I would go with the Rainbow Fruit Spring Roll. The vibrant fruit flavors paired beautifully with the umeboshi sauce, and it looked as if it had been plucked straight from nature, served on a shiso leaf.

The main menu of the night consisted of a Whipped Goat Cheese Profiterole, Rainbow Fruit Spring Roll, Kabocha Coconut Salad, Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits, White Cloud Black Cod, Dark Cloud-Seared Petite Tenderloin, and Mushroom and Lentil Steak.

Our three featured cocktails of the night were an absolute hit among the guests! The Pike Place Roast Martini combined Cocoa Bomb Chocolate Whiskey, Cold Brew, Coffee Liqueur, and Coffee Beans. The Emerald was a refreshing mix of Elk Rider Gin, Green Crème de Menthe, Maraschino Liqueur, Lime Juice, Mint Spring, and a Lime Wheel. Finally, our Rainy Day Fizz offered a vibrant blend of Elk Rider Vodka, Lemon Juice, Almond Syrup, and Blueberry Bubbles.

Catering the inaugural gala for an organization dedicated to both personal growth and the advancement of deserving industry professionals in our region was truly magical. Miranda shared, "It was so special to give the hardworking industry pros in the room a chance to celebrate their talent and passion. You could feel the gratitude and joy radiating from the guests as they celebrated together and enjoyed a little pampering!"
