As the Marketing & Graphic Design Manager for DSquared Hospitality Company, Maya My Linh Ortiz-Camacho leads with creativity, strategy, and a deep appreciation for the heart of hospitality. From overseeing advertising campaigns and photoshoots to event décor and branding details, Maya ensures that every visual and message reflects the DSquared mission — down to the placement of a logo on a brochure.
Though her work is mostly behind the scenes, Maya often steps into client-facing roles during events and venue tours, especially when helping expand the DSquared network. With two chef parents and a childhood spent in restaurants, hospitality is second nature to her. She earned her BBA in Marketing from Gonzaga University (Go Zags!) and combines her education with real-world know-how, balancing big-picture vision with hands-on design.
Maya is a proud Bainbridge Island native and feels fortunate to build a career in a company that aligns so closely with her personal values. She believes hospitality from the heart is the most meaningful kind — and it’s what drew her to DSquared in the first place. For her, this role rarely feels like a job; it’s a creative outlet grounded in community and care.
In her downtime, Maya loves working out just as much as she loves sampling the delicious creations from the Tuxedos & Tennis Shoes team — a perk of sharing office space with culinary pros. She’s also the life of the party, thanks in part to growing up in a big family with two older brothers, an older sister, and a younger sister. It’s no wonder she’s always ready to jump into the next big celebration — both personally and professionally.
